Web Site Design
Your website can be either a static site, acting as an online brochure, a database driven (CMS) site to enable you to update it yourself or for e-commerce purposes.
For any type of site you can add a newsletter sign-up to keep in contact with your clients. Emailing them through your control panel enables you to bulk mail to individual clients - not the blind copy method used in Outlook. And, should they choose your clients can withdraw from the mailing list at any time so feeling safe they are not signing up to receiving emails forever more.
Prices start from only £295 including your first years hosting and a UK domain name.
Static websites
Often called Online Brochures. The minimum number of pages we would suggest is three, normally a home or landing page, a page perhaps describing your business offering in more detail and a contact page with phone address and a contact form. To this we normally automatically add privacy policy and website usage terms pages. Of course there is no limit to the number of pages you can have - multiple pages for different products, information, blog - the list goes on.
A static site does not mean that nothing can change ever, merely that updates need to be more planed and probably less frequent. If you want a static site that you think you may want to update frequently then consider a content management system (CMS) site or website maintenance plan.
Content Management System Sites
CMS Sites are for you to update yourself. We design the website, add the initial content and layout then, when it's fully tested and working, hand it over to you to change and alter the content of the agreed pages as you wish.
The interface uses your browser and displays in a form similar to word so you should feel very comfortable in making changes to the content of your site.
This site is built using CMS. You would just login using your administrator password then click the edit icon on that page. You're then presented with a screen like this to edit your page.
E-commerce sites
Similar to CMS sites but include a payment gateway so your clients can order and pay for items online at any time - night, weekends, bank holidays - your store is always open.
